Residential Flooring Service

If you are looking at having new flooring installed in your home or apartment, there are several options to choose from. The main choices these days are mostly hard floor substance, as they seem to be a more popular option. However, carpet is still a great choice for low traffic and more comfortable areas, like the bedrooms. If you are wanting new floors installed, but having a hard time deciding which floor options is right for which space, let us help you out. We can install any type of flooring and any combination of flooring types.

Wood Floors

Wood floors are the staple of flooring choices. Wood is extremely durable and, if properly treated and sealed, it can resist all manner of dirt and stains and water spillage. Wood floors are tough and are fairly scratch resistant, which makes them a great choice for pet owners. Wood floors are also highly customizable; coming in a whole range of colors and textures and different woods. Woods floors are also incredible easy to clean and can be swept, vacuumed and mopped. If you are looking for a timeless floor that gives a huge impact, wood floors are a great option.

Tile Floors

Tile floors are traditionally used for bathrooms, kitchens and laundry areas. However, tiles can also be used in main living spaces. The choice is completely up to you and what your personal preferences are. Tile is a great flooring option because, like wood, it is extremely durable and water resistant. The different being that tiles has grout in between each square which, over time, can collect dirt and be rather hard to keep looking like new. A benefit of tile though, is that tile comes in all different colors and patterns and can be made to looks however you want.

Cement Floors

Cement floors, in residential buildings, is a newer, more modern type of flooring. Cement floors are gorgeous and are the most durable type of flooring you can have installed. Because concrete is poured all at once, this means that there are no seams or grouting to keep clean. And, because concrete is a stone aggregate, it means that it naturally resists water. If properly treated, concrete floors are very easy to clean and will last for years to come. Concrete can be polished or stained to bring a touch of uniqueness and personal style to your space.

Carpet Floors

Carpet floors were the go to flooring for years, however, in more recent years carpet has slowly begun to be phased out. This doesn’t mean its a bad flooring option, because it isn’t. Carpet is nice to walk on and far more comfortable than any other flooring type. Carpet is also relatively easy to clean. However, carpet is not resistant to water or heavy foot and pet traffic. For this reason, carpet makes an excellent choice for bedrooms. Carpet can also be installed in living spaces but it’s worth keeping in mind that it simply isn’t as durable as hard flooring.
